Antonio Pujía has born in Italy in 1929. He studied at the National School of Fine Arts, where he taught years later. In 1956 founded the Scenographic Sculpture workshop of the Colon Theater of Buenos Aires, and worked there until 1970. He was named Caballero al Mérito of the Italian Republic (1982) and Illustrious Citizen of the City of Buenos Aires (1992).

Nowadays, he carries out more than 80 individual exhibitions.
